This notice explains how PurpleBolt Designs handles personal information when you visit this website or contact us about our web design services.

Who is responsible

This website is operated by Nikos Pavlou through PurpleBolt Designs. For privacy questions or requests, contact designs@purplebolt.co.uk.

Information we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the service you select and your message. The website host may also process basic connection and security logs when serving pages.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam and automated submissions. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and device, your IP address, and a verification token. It does not access the contents of your message. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

How we use information

We use contact details and messages to read, respond to, and manage your enquiry. We use Turnstile and relevant technical logs to protect the form and website from abuse.

Our basis for handling enquiries is our legitimate interest in receiving and responding to messages. Where you ask us to take steps before entering a contract, we may process the information for that purpose. We use security information to protect the website and its contact service.

Who receives information

Contact form submissions are delivered to designs@purplebolt.co.uk through our email service. Cloudflare processes Turnstile verification data, and our website hosting provider may process technical request logs. These providers process information to provide or secure their services.

We do not sell your personal information or use contact form submissions for marketing.

Portfolio previews and external services

Hovering over a portfolio card on desktop or opening a live preview loads the featured website within this page. Your browser connects directly to that website, which may receive your IP address and browser information, set cookies, or load analytics and other services according to its own privacy policy. Following a portfolio link also takes you to a separately operated website.

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's servers to request the fonts, which exposes technical request information such as your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.

International processing

Some service providers may process technical information outside the United Kingdom. Where data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision or another approved transfer safeguard.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiries and related correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond and manage any follow-up. We may retain relevant records longer where needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to meet a legal obligation. We then securely delete or anonymise them.

Cookies and similar technologies

PurpleBolt's own page does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile is used for contact-form security and may process technical information or use similar technologies as part of its verification service. We do not use it to track visitors across websites.

Embedded portfolio websites may use their own cookies and tracking technologies when a live preview loads, as described above. If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies of our own that require consent, we will explain them and ask before enabling them.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive information you provided in a portable format. To make a request, email designs@purplebolt.co.uk.
